THE PRO BONO PARTNERSHIP provides pro bono business legal services to nonprofit agencies in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, in the firm belief that knowledge and the application of sound legal practices make nonprofit organizations more effective and better able to focus their resources on supplying vital services to the community.   More

  • Clients:  The Partnership assists qualifying nonprofit organizations located in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Putnam Counties, NY.  Request legal assistance
     
  • Volunteers:  The Partnership recruits attorneys seeking to undertake rewarding pro bono business and transactional legal matters on behalf of its clients. More

  • Nonprofit Crisis Management Initiative:  Consult the Partnership for important legal advice if  your organization is facing substantial changes in operations, staff cuts or other difficult decisions because of the recession.  More
     
  • Child Care Initiative:  The Partnership provides specialized legal assistance and educational workshops to New York-based nonprofit child care and after-school providers, except those located in New York City.  We advise on general business legal needs and the regulatory issues unique to child care providers.  More
