The U.S. Department of Labor’s 2024 Revised White Collar Regulations: What Nonprofits Need to Know

New Jersey Mandatory Notices Reminder

October 17, 2023

With the end of 2023 fast approaching, Pro Bono Partnership wants to remind nonprofits about:

Some notices that they might need to give to their New Jersey employees at the time of hire, annually, and/or upon request.
Some other New Jersey notice requirements, including with respect to the 2022 revised rules relating to the posters/notices required by (1) the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD) with respect to employment, public accommodations, and housing, and (2) the New Jersey Family Leave Act (NJFLA).
The federal posters that were revised to reflect two new laws that went into effect in 2023: the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act.
