New Jersey Minimum Wage to Increase in January 2025

Nonprofits should note that New Jerseyâs minimum hourly wage will increase on January 1, 2025, to $15.49 for employees of large employers and $14.53 for employees of small and seasonal employers. Moreover, as of January 1, 2025, âdirect care staff membersâ in long-term health facilities are to receive a minimum wage that is $3.00 higher than New Jerseyâs then-current minimum wage for large employers.
