Important Changes to Connecticut Leave Laws – December 2021

Big changes are coming to the Connecticut Family and Medical Leave Act (CTFMLA) as of January 1, 2022. At the same time, there will also be a brand-new set of paid leave benefits available to employees through the new Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA). What do you need to know, and what do you need to do, to get ready?  Which leaves of absence are paid, which are protected, and which are both? Who is eligible for these benefits and which employers are required to provide them? What circumstances are qualifying reasons?
