The New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act is Amended to Permit Membership Meetings to Be Held in Part or Solely by Means of Remote Communication



In April 2020 and January 2022, the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act was amended to permit nonprofit corporations to:

  1. Hold membership meetings at a designated physical location and allow members to participate by remote communication.
  1. Hold membership meetings solely by remote communication.
